What a wonderful day! I first met Lucie and Tom on the morning of their wedding in real life at the Hilton in Chester, we'd spoken only on zoom and WhatsApp before that, and what a warm welcome I received from them both. The whole day was about warmth, quite literally as it was during the heatwave (thank goodness for aircon!) and also emotionally. We laughed, we cried and we partied. There was an ice-cream van, a bubble exit and a confetti exit, sparklers, and moments in the setting sun with just the two of them.
I feel so privileged that they trusted me with their big day. As a wedding photographer it's always so wonderful to be valued by your couple, and I really felt valued. With hugs, gifts and feeling like part of the family, I felt the love.
