REAL WEDDING: Chloe and Ollie, Kent wedding

As soon as I arrived at the venue, I could already feel the energy: the girls were bringing 100% party vibes!

It was a total blast capturing this gorgeous girl gang hyping up their beautiful bride, Chloe. The couple’s daughter Florence lapped up the atmosphere, just as excited and just as stunning in her tulle dress and satin pumps, surrounded by this fierce and fabulous group of friends.

Girls done, next stop: the boys. I dashed over to Ramsgate where a half-dressed Ollie opened the door to me, much to everyone’s amusement. The groomsmen did not disappoint with the banter and energy – they were totally up for it!

Even when the heavens opened as we left, their sprits didn’t falter. Torrential rain meant driving the 10 miles to the venue at an excruciating 20mph. But we arrived in time for the Weather Gods to backtrack on Chloe and Ollie’s nuptials, as the sun triumphantly burst from the clouds and shone gloriously for the rest of the day (prompting a mad rush from the staff to reposition the seats outside, which is where they’d originally hoped to exchange their vows).

I found a nervous Chloe for some last-minute dress shots – and some calming breathing exercises – and followed her into the ceremony. The celebrant, sensing some pre-wedding nerves, made everyone feel at ease and captured the very essence of Chloe and Ollie’s partnership, beautifully.

The day had its own rhythm and flow, and with everyone dispersing after the ceremony, I didn’t want the couple to miss out on their ‘Just Married’ group shots. The Father of the Bride came to the rescue though, swiftly rounding up the guests for some group, family and couple snaps.

A superb wedding breakfast, gorgeously heart-warming speeches and a spontaneous first dance from the couple – the day segued into the evening accompanied by local band Ozzie and the Uglies who filled the dancefloor all night. A sparkler photoshoot under the stars rounded off the heat, heart and love that enveloped Chloe and Ollie on their big day. A truly joyous celebration!

So much love for you guys!
