Your Guide to Making the Perfect Guest List for Your Wedding

Making your wedding guest list can be a big dilemma for you and your significant other, especially if you are on a budget. However, there are some simple ways you can make a guest list according to your budget and without stirring up any tension between families.

· Divide The List

You can make three divisions in the list, out of which you and your significant other get 50% of the total guests, whereas either of your families gets a 25%.

· No Kids Policy

Kids can add up in the list and increase your costs as well. You can rather choose to mention it clearly in the invitation to avoid bringing kids along. Although to be fair, I love kids at a wedding!

· Unseen Family

They are the family members who you haven’t seen in years. So there's no point in inviting them to your wedding.

· Work Friends

Yes, you do share office space and lunch with your colleagues, but that doesn’t mean you have to call them on your wedding.

Your wedding should be an intimate affair between you, your significant other and your loved ones, not a grand feast for the town. You can invite any of the above people to the evening reception.
